       Communications and Events CommitteeChair Mo Boyle Our Communication & Events team bring together and coordinate our events, specialising in online and in person sessions. They deliver the annual conference, AGM and our Annual Recognition Awards. Alongside this they support the delivery of a wide range of virtual and in person CPD and Health & Wellness events throughout the year. They produce the fortnightly digital newsletter and in conjunction with our former Chair Jenni Stuart, they record, edit and produce podcasts and other video content.

       Health & Wellness CommitteeChair Alanna Goddard Our recently reformed Health & Wellness subcommittee support change and improvement and raise awareness in relation to Health and Wellness matters. They deliver a very popular programme of lunchtime sessions throughout the year. This busy subcommittee has four workstreams: Physical Health & Fitness Mental Health & Wellness Modern Workforce Pregnancy, Maternity, Family & Caring

       Women of Colour in PolicingChair Jojo Daly Established in 2023 the Committee seeks to collaborate with internal and external partners, diversity staff associations and allies to explore the complex space of intersectionality and to enhance the visibility, voice, representation and experience of women of colour in policing.

       Ambassador LeadLead Amanda Irvine Our Ambassadors are situated throughout Scotland and provide crucial local points of contact and advice. They also provide invaluable support at many of the local and national events which the SWDF are invited to participate in.

       Personal & Professional Development CommitteeChair Lindsey Hammond The P&PD subgroup aims to support SWDF members with both their personal and professional development. Being led by what our members seek, we provide sessions such as CPD events, workshops, motivational speakers and delivery of the Springboard Programme. We are actively involved in Force consultations on policy and process development to ensure equality of opportunity and fair selection around professional development.
